The Danish band Pan was led by the French musician Robert Lelièvre and they managed to record only this one studio album. The album was released in 1970 on the Sonet label. Many consider the album to be some sort of forgotten classic of both psychedelic rock and progressive rock genres. It certainly deserves it's reputation as an underground cult favourite.
Their ability to mix psych rock and prog rock together is pretty impressive. The album is a highly enjoyable package from the start to the end. Songs like If, Il n'y a pas si longtemps de ca, Tristesse and especially the album closer Lady of the Sand make this album a very satisfying totality.
