Fantastic! Imagine the Mamas and the Papas singing in Portuguese and adding psychedelia and samba to their harmonious pop tunes. That description comes reasonably close to describing the sound of Os Mutantes. For some reason, it seems a band known as 'the mutants' would be hard, heavy and outrageous in a comic kind of way but instead they're versatile, charming and catchy.
