Murasaki - Doin' Our Thing (CD)

Double live album recorded by this excellent Japanese hard rock sexted was originally released by local Bourbon Records in November 1977. Murasaki (which means ‘purple’ in Japanese) were a complete Deep Purple MK II enthusiasts (to say the least) which was obvious from their 1975 debut LP, with some really groundbreaking Blackmore/Lord-like guitars and keyboards parts and very fine English vocals. This 80-minute CD contains all but one tracks from original release (the only exception being a boring ballad sung in Japanese) which was in fact a kind of ‘the very best of’ gathering their best from classic first 2 albums ‘Murasaki’ and ‘Impact’) plus 2 exclusive covers of Deep Purple’ ‘Fireball’ and ZZ Top`s ‘Tush’ - all of that in remarkable sound quality.
